2021- An era of greater well-being & intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
For so many, 2020 has represented the absolute noteworthy difficulties of our lifetime, However, 2020 happens to be my best year ever. 2020 was a year the Holy Spirit helped me achieve what I thought was impossible despite the global PANDEMIC. Turning the calendar page to 2021 is an opportunity to remind yourself of how wonderful and kind God has been, how he has protected you and your family during the pandemic and to take great consideration of YOU in the New Year.
No doubt, the pandemic really has changed the world forever and our lives too but ‘’Every year is a new beginning’’ and this is a light of hope for everyone because DEUTERONOMY 31:6 encouraged us to be strong and courageous. The BIBLE SAYS…. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Let’s rephrase the unbearable platitude that ‘2020 has been the most problematic and unprecedent year of this generation’, changing it to ‘2021 IS DEFINITELY GOING TO SAVE THE WORLD!’ let’s not waste time and get to work while we can, below I have mentioned all the meaningful ways to make 2021 a more balanced and successful year for you and other people in your life.
INTIMACY WITH WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT is ultimate key to greater well-being.
Self-Compassion on the other hand, is also an addition because, it is an ultimate expression of your highest self’’
2020 has been tough for so many of people Including many who lost self-compassion while struggling. Many people are good at showing compassion to others, especially during the pandemic but not as great at being compassionate to themselves or praying for themselves. Self-compassion gives us breathing room and set aside the effort to deal with ourselves in a mending and kind way.
- Your basic needs must get some attention too
‘’There is nothing, absolutely nothing, more important than meeting our basic human needs’’
2020 has messed up almost everyone’s daily routine. A daily schedule will do fine! Start Prioritizing sleep by going to bed earlier and getting 7-9 hours of sleep a night; Eat healthy and walk outdoors for 20 minutes three times a week. Prioritize every single thing that is meant to be prioritized. Also, remember to involve the Holy Spirit in your daily routine for He will help you maintain you inner peace daily.
- Be present
‘’Wherever you are, be all there!’’
On the off chance that you end up being lost in the past or panicking over the future, try to take yourself back to the present moment using your senses. Proceed with your day with the positive thoughts of PRESENT! This can be achieved through intimacy with the Holy Spirit and meditation.
- Pick a couple of simple, easy goals
‘’Goals must start from your OWN home. Organize, relax and live!’’
This is something that helps when Zoom calls, being isolated at home and missing family and dear companions gets you down. In case you’re feeling stuck at home, achieve a couple of goals you wouldn’t normally have time for like reorganizing your closet, cleansing old emails, or planning a new activity routine. The Holy Spirit is our helper, trust me, He can help you with the most craziest things you can ever imagine.
- A daily plan won’t hurt that will put you first
‘’Put yourself first, even if it is about PRODUCTIVITY!’’
Take the time to put yourself and your own needs first. Is it safe to say that you are adding some fun to your life? Is it safe to say that you are staying connected with the ones who are important to you? By creating a space for yourself, it will make it simpler to keep on supporting others.
- Consider well-being as a journey rather than a destination.
This simple move allows for elegance and patience if we wind up occupied or having tumbled off the way en route. Don’t be too hard on yourself and continue your journey with a sense of purpose!
- Take a tech-break
‘’Taking a tech-break will do wonders!’’
For many, 2020 has expanded our reliance upon social media and technology. Spend time with the people who actually share your living space rather than wasting it on Facebook or other apps. Or maybe divide your time rightfully!
Just know what must be done when, rightfully and live your 2021 according to the Leadership of the Holy Spirit, you will definitely move into a greater state of well-being.
