Never apologize for being happy, but the things that makes you happy matters alot.
Happiness to some people is having all the glamorous things of this world, while to some, happiness is not having what the world sees as success but still feels complete and comfortable. To some happiness is being fulfilled in ministry, while to some happiness is being married with kids and money.
Although knowing Jesus and living as a Christian certainly gives purpose to life and provides hope, encouragement and confidence for the future while the here and now can still be filled with trials.
According to the BIBLE, you and i will face trails and tribulations, and it says in the book of (MATTHEW 5:11-12) Rejoice, and be very glad: for great is your reward in heaven.
(1 Peter 4:12) warned you and I not to be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon to us to test us, as though something strange were happening to us.
As Christians, we should expect difficulties because living a life following Christ means living a life that is often in direct contradiction to the way of the world.
I am not saying you should accept the situation you are in right now but rather, focus more on the rewards in heaven and maintaining the right attitude during the tribulations.
My question to us today is…..When was the last time you were happy?
What is your definition of happiness?
CAN YOU SEE JESUS CHRIST IN THAT STORM?
KEEP THIS IN MIND!!
Happiness is free and cheap to those who focus on the heavenly rewards while to those who sees happiness as having everything on earth, HAPPINESS IS VERY EXPENSIVE.
