PROVERB 16:5-6
5). Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord : though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
PRIDE:
Feeling deep pleasure or satisfaction as a result of one’s own achievements, qualities, or possessions or those of someone with whom one is closely associated.
PRIDE: Is showing a high or excessively high opinion of oneself or one’s importance.
What makes a man proud is when he feels that he is better than everybody.
That was what brought Nebuchadnezzar down in the book of Daniel.
DANIEL 4:29-30
At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.
The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?
HE WAS GLORIFYING HIMSELF!

As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
PRAYER:
OH LORD MY GOD, IN ANYWAY I HAVE BECOME PROUD, LORD, LET YOUR MERCY SPEAK FOR ME.
It is very important that we examine our motives daily. It is important that we keep our feets on the ground, no matter how high we have already reached.
The book of James 4:10 …..says humble yourselves in the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
God knows everything, he sees our hearts the Bible says in Luke 14:11, “For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
Daniel 4:37
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because everything he does is right and all his ways are just. And those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
PRAYER:
OH LORD MY GOD, SEARCH MY HEART
AND LET THE SPIRIT OF HUMILITY BE AT WORK IN MY LIFE BY YOUR MERCY.
NEBUCHADNEZZAR said this is what MY power has made. He didn’t recognize the God that made him and gave him the strength to accomplish his achievements

OH LORD MY FATHER, BY YOUR MERCY, MAY I ALWAYS RECOGNIZE YOUR GRACE UPON MY LIFE, UPON MY FAMILY, UPON THE CHURCH IN JESUS NAME
INTEGRITY:……. the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.
As a believer, your presentation matters alot. The way you speak matters alot, your appearance matters alot.
To be different, bold, confident, outspoken, truthful, and strong doesn’t mean you are being proud it means you are keeping the moral principles of the kingdom of God where you are from, but that doesn’t make you better than others because we are all standing by the grace of God.
Whatever you have today was given to you by the grace of God.
Paul said I am what I am by the grace of God. He knew who he was but he accorded it to the God who gave him the grace.
So what God sees as pride is different from what MEN sees as PRIDE……..when you feel that your achievements and the level at where you are right now is as a result of your personal effort and achievements then God sees you as a proud man.
But when you feel or say that whatever you have or whomever you are today is by the grace of God and you don’t want to live below it, it means you are a man of integrity…….God exalt a man of integrity and reduces a man that is proud…….
Paul say I magnify mine office….in ROMAN’S 11:13.
PRAYER:
OH LORD MY GOD, WHATEVER YOU HAVE GIVEN ME AND WHOMEVER I HAVE BECOME, LET IT NOT ENTER MY HEAD IN JESUS NAME.
