Is it really possible to be PERFECT?……..The answer is yes.
Jesus Christ said that the object of perfection is God, and as Christians, we are obligated to be perfect just as our heavenly father is.
COLOSSIANS 3:17……..SAYS, And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
As a believer, if you do all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks and accolades to him, you will become perfect.
MATTHEW 5:48……..Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Jesus Christ is the express image of the Father and if you must be like the Father, you must be like Jesus Christ.
Apostle Paul got this revelation through his walk with the Holy Spirit, which was why he said what he said in COLOSSIANS 3:17.
As believers, there is a certain kind of lifestyle that has been designed for us to enable us enjoy the blessings of God. And, for us to be like our Heavenly Father, we must continue in that lifestyle.
To receive a blessing from God, we must maintain a Godly and Holy lifestyle because God is Holy.
One of the reasons why some believers are struggling today is because they are here and there.
REVELATION 3:15-16…..I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
If we want God to bless us, we must change completely and follow only God’s way.
God has demanded humility, fellowship, prayer, repentance and seeking his face daily because he is a Holy God. Let’s not take him for granted.
Beloved, if we want to live as perfect Christians, enjoy God’s blessings, and want God to fellowship with us daily, and answer our prayers, we must live according to the lifestyle designed for us by our heavenly Father.
I pray for you today that you will desire to be like God in Jesus Name Amen.
